We spent our last day at Arches hiking the shorter hikes just off the road like Balanced Rock. Then we ended up at Sand Dune Arch. This is my favorite place at Arches and I was excited to introduce my children to it.
They caught on pretty quickly that this is a place to run and play.
And jump. We spent about an hour and half here just playing barefoot in the warm sand. So fun.
The next morning we packed up and drove home while we listened to General Conference. These were some very exhausted children. Oh yeah … I loved, loved, loved the showers at the Moab KOA. Such a luxury when you’re camping. It was almost worth not getting to camp right in Arches. Almost.
Just got back from our break, so now I’m catching up with yours! Looks like a fun family vacation! Hope your sciatic cools off. I had that with my last two. Ugh.
Beautiful pics!
Okay. I swore I’d never comment at the frog blog again, then I surfed over there during a short writing break, and commented…on the latest post of the person I commented on last week. Its another HOW TO post and I couldn’t resist. I must be some obsessive compulsive!
Maybe not obsessive compulsive (though I’m not ruling that out) just more detail oriented. I enjoyed learning how you present and resolve your plots. It adds depth to your work. Your comments are always helpful.
I’m here in Florida for work and showing the guys your blog as it is a great represintation of our area and life style. Came across this blog about Arches. Brings back alot of great memories.
I know. Every spring I get the itch to go there. So many good memories. Hope all is going well with you in Florida.:)
