New Calf

Our milk cow, Lolly, had a new calf sometime between 10 AM and 1 PM today. Only a few weeks and I can quit buying milk–Hooray!

We haven’t decided on a name yet. Any suggestions?

    Congratulations to Lolly! You didn’t say whether it’s a boy or a girl so I think you should call it Jo.

    By the way, I am coming down to visit my parents for a few days on Monday. It would be fun to see you. Or even to have your boys over to play with Kimball.

    That’s a great name, Kate! I’ll throw it out to the children. btw–it’s a heifer (girl).

    Yay! Cow’s milk. I am jealous. Two votes for Jo. Her full name could be Josephine Matilda Palmer. We should all expect great things from her.
