So you may be wondering what happened to my Weekly Preschool Posts.
1. The four-year-old is so happy to have older siblings home he doesn’t want to stop playing to do preschool. Really, who am I to interrupt sibling bonding like that?
2. July had two holidays and two family reunions. One reunion Nate and I were in charge of. Seriously, why can’t I remember these things when I commit to doing a preschool blog post every week?
3. Also, spending the day throwing rocks and dirt clods into a stream with cousins while waiting for the cattle drive to catch up is prime time for building family relationships.
My new (hopefully more realistic) goal is this:
I will begin Weekly Preschool Posts when life settles down enough for me to actually follow through with the plans.
I know, I know, it sounds pretty vague. I was tempted to type: Weekly Preschool Posts will resume following Labor Day. However, with my new found reality, I realize canning will be in full swing about then so I may have to wait until that’s finished.
So basically I’m saying I’ll be back with Weekly Preschool Posts–I’m just not entirely sure when.
Whew!–I’m glad that’s out of the way. It’s been stressing me out to miss my deadline each week.
I’m going to alter this sentence to fit my own reality:
“I will begin BREATHING AGAIN when life settles down enough for me to actually follow through with the plans.”
Oh, I hear you on the canning front (and I don’t do nearly as much as you.) At first I was saddened that a storm toppled much of our garden … then I felt relieved! (But still sad.)
I look forward to your preschool ideas whenever the planets align.
Oh Jenni, lol, I should update my post with YOUR sentence! Too true!
Sorry to hear about your garden. The fresh produce tastes so good, but oh the time and work involved. So I say be happy with this bit of a breather . . . maybe even celebrate a little . . . ’cause after all no one was hurt (right?).
