This is my husband’s Grandma. Every year she invites all the girls to help her make chocolates. Our husbands are all in full support of this day–something about the tins of chocolates we bring home.
It’s quite a houseful, and getting a turn at dipping is a challenge.
Grandma does her best to teach us the technique.
It’s one of those days my girls look forward to all year. Thanks, Grandma!
That’s so fun. I need to start a candy-making tradition like that since my 2 of my boys can’t have wheat.
Rebecca, this would be a great tradition for gluten-free children.
I completely agree. However, I am still trying to make time in my busy schedule to dip the GF pretzels I’ve been wanting to do since before Christmas. *sigh*
