In a mere two or three weeks my book will hit store shelves. That fact leaves me in a party kind of mood. What better way to celebrate than to host a weekly giveaway up until my book is released? Since I don’t have any copies in my hands yet, I’ll be giving away other authors’ books–all romance or romantic suspense.
However, I need your help to spread the word about my book. So . . . in order to enter I’ll be asking you to do more than just leave a comment.
But first, let’s take a look at the prize:
Cross My Heart by Julie Wright
Forget about love triangles — this is a full-blown love quadrangle that quickly becomes a high-stakes game with savvy players, snappy dialogue, and a plot that won’t stop twisting.
Julie came in May to visit a couple of our local elementary schools. I had so much fun visiting with her. She has an energy that just won’t quit.
Now, how can you win this book?
I’m launching my new author Facebook page and I need people to like it to make it more visible. So to enter the contest:
- “Like” my Facebook author page here: Kate Palmer Author, or go to the Facebook box in my sidebar and click “Like”. That was easy, right? Now . . .
- Leave a comment telling me if you’re ready for school to start. (I just found out Sunday that school starts a day later than I thought–so woohoo!–an extra day to get ready.)
- Share this contest on FB, your blog, tweet it, email all your friends and family, anything else you can think of to spread the word.:) Leave a comment here telling me what you did. Each mode of sharing the contest earns you another point/entry for the contest.
- Contest closes on Sunday, August 26 at midnight.
That’s it! Thanks for helping me spread the word!
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who has already “liked” my FB Author page–you all are awesome!
It’s good to know I’m not the only one who thought school started today. 🙂 I happened to drive by the school yesterday and saw the signs announcing this good information. I am glad for the extra day to figure out how to do lunch (she wants to take lunch from home.) Lunchbucket was not so happy about that news, she is SO excited for school!
I like the cover photo for your page. That space is just not the right shape for a book cover, but you made it work well!
Hi Kate, So exciting to hear about your new release! I saw it on either Amazon or Goodreads awhile back and thought it looked intriguing. I definitely want to read it! Good luck!
Jenni, it helps to be married to Nate. He made the cover work inside the space. I wonder how many families showed up at the school today–I don’t think the date change was very well publicized.
Karen, thanks for your encouragement. I’m really interested to read your latest book:)
Hi Kate,
Congratulations on your upcoming release. I am not ready for school to start, meaning I’d rather have another week or two with my kids.
That’s really funny that you thought the school started today because in my planner I had written the elementary starting on the 23rd so surprise lol.. But our classroom is ready. I finished up my part today and Wendy is as ready as she can get. Jenni your little girl is in our room so I look forward to getting to know her. 🙂
Okay I put this on my facebook and I hope I did it right to share the link with everyone in my friends and family list in my email 🙂 Good luck!
I am totally ready for school to start but that’s because Kimball gets to start preschool for the first time. I’m really excited for him.
I liked your page and I shared your giveaway on my FB page.
I am so excited for your book to come out!
Rebecca, thanks for stopping by. It would be nice to have more time with my kids too–but without any outside schedules to interfere.:)
Patti, the 23rd, that’s too funny! Thanks for spreading the word:)
Kate, I can’t believe Kimball goes to preschool this year! Thanks for sharing the contest.
I am not really ready for school to start. I will miss my kids, and my first-grader will be gone all day now!! Plus, now I have to be back on a schedule…At least it will help with my workout routine too! I’m so excited for you and your book!! Happy Bookday! 🙂
By the way, I shared your giveaway on Facebook! And I will email it to my family too. 🙂
AND pinned it to Pinterest!! 🙂
So awesome. Can’t wait to read it!
School, what’s school? I guess with no little ones it’s just another day.
I did share your book on facebook,
Hillary, first grade is hard on the Mom. Thanks for all your support. I’m still trying to figure out Pinterest!
Thanks, Chas and Karen:)
